Attention Builders Group Workshop

TLC Occupational Therapy Group ADHD Workshop

Around the first month of each school year, I receive an influx of inquiries about services.  This is often because parents don't initially recognize behaviors which will impact a child's school performance (and quite likely be disruptive to peers' engagement in classroom activities), until teachers highlight problematic behaviors affecting school performance.  This often pertains to inattentive or impulsive behavior, cognitive inflexibility, poor emotional control, and reduced problem-solving skills.  Parents often assume children will outgrow these behaviors, but that's usually not the case.  It is important to address challenges early on, as they often grow into larger problems as the school curriculum becomes more challenging (increasing frustration and further affecting reduced cognitive performance and emotional control).

Starting in January 2026, I'm offering an eight-week workshop tailored to those with attention deficit and emotional regulation challenges.  This is available for current and past clients, as well as those who are currently on my ever-growing wait-list.  Now is the time to act and increase your child's skill level, confidence, and independence with daily tasks.

The eight-session workshop is $600.  The deadline for registering is January 5, 2026.  The first payment is due on Friday January 16th, and the second payment is due on March 3rd.

Parents will occasionally express concern regarding the costs of therapy.  It might be easy to compare the costs of therapy to other monthly expenses such as car payments, which are costs associated with items which depreciate over time.  However, any expenses associated with helping one's child is minimized over time, as the benefits associated with improved regulatory control appreciate in value, compounding over time.
